Love Always
This ended up being a good show. It strayed a bit from the A and B case, but it ended up working out well. And I was right about them failing to prevent the assassination. How could I have guessed? First, in the show’s description they used the word “try,” which implies failure with the possibility of success. And second, why would anyone write such a boring TV show in which they find the criminal at the beginning?
What I liked about this show was how realistic it was. This is actually what the person Lightman is based on does in airports (except it isn’t actually him who is detecting the lies). This show focused mainly on gestures. There was the Ambassador’s finger pointing away from where he was looking. There was also the bodyguard’s bow that was “off.” And then there was the Ambassador stepping in front of his son.
The first slip interests me the most. People do this kind of thing all the time. Actually, these kinds of slips could tell you more about if a person is lying than a microexpression could. Here is a cool website that deals with this sort of slip.
The next episode is “Unchained.” It will be about gangs and a firefighter who will be killed. It should be interesting.
